Scope

The purpose of the seminar is to share the newest results in the calculus of variations and the theory of partial differential equations of nonstandard growth and related functional analysis. Our special attention is focused on studies steming from the research on problems exposing so-called (p,q)-growth including not only variable exponent, double phase, and Orlicz growth together with their anisotropic versions, but all falling into the realm of inhomogeneous and fully anisotropic Musielak-Orlicz growth.



Organization

Due to the CoVid-19 pandemic the seminar will be run on-line via Zoom. The link to each meeting will be sent in a newsletter of the seminar and it will appear here half an hour before the meeting. The talks take place on Mondays at

14:00 & 15:00 (Polish time = CET)
i.e. 13:00 & 14:00 in UK, 15:00 & 16:00 in Finland, and 22:00 & 23:00 in Korea.

IC is a PI of (Polish) National Science Centre Grant Sonata Bis 2019/34/E/ST1/00120 ‘Measure data problems’ (2020-2025).
The objectives of the project include studies on existence and regularity properties of very weak solutions to problems with nonstandard growth.
