Commutative algebra, winter semester 2019/20

The website of the lecture, the official website of the course in USOS
Problem sessions: Wednesdays at 14:15, room 2100

Evaluation rules: the grade will be based on two mid term exams (weight 20% = 2 x 10%) points from homework assignments (30%) and oral exam (50%). We do not plan a written exam. These rules might slightly change but only in directions favorable to students.

Problem sets

Problem sets will appear here on Fridays.
At the beginning of each session students should declare which problems they solved. Each problem will be presented at the board by a chosen student (in English, unless everyone in the room speak Polish). The solutions do not have to be written.
Some problems have a number of points assigned, the other ones are worth 1 point.
There will be some extra points problems - you don't have to work on them (though I strongly encourage you to try!), but please at least read them!
If you cannot come to the problem session, you may hand in the solutions (on paper or by email) before the session starts. Or, if on sick leave, before the first session after the leave.
