Wang’s model of decision-making aims to reproduce the neuronal dynamics of a two‑choice task with noisy inputs. I will briefly present the model together with its biophysical basis and main features. I will also describe the mechanisms of alpha waves, neural oscillations that play a nontrivial role in visual perception. Possible ways of incorporating them into the model will be proposed, focusing on accurately and fully representing their function. As this is an early-stage work in progress, opinions and discussion are very welcome.
