Układy dynamiczne oraz pewne problemy analizy zespolonej i geometrii

Holomorficzne układy dynamiczne są przedmiotem intensywnych badań od początku lat 80 ubiegłego wieku.  Niesłabnąca popularność tej  specyficznej gałęzi teorii układów dynamicznych jest (między innymi) motywowana związkiem z problemami  geometrycznej teorii funkcji i geometrycznej teorii miary. Opowiem o kilku takich intrygujących problemach - rozwiązanych niedawno, a także - tych ciągle otwartych. W szczególności - o pytaniach związanych z geometrią miary harmonicznej i o słynnej  hipotezie Brennana. Wyjaśnię co z tym wszystkim mają wspólnego układy dynamiczne, a w szczególności (prosta z pozoru) dynamika wielomianów na płaszczyźnie i dynamika tzw. konforemnych układów iteracyjnych na płaszczyźnie.

Holomorphic dynamical systems have been the subject of intensive research since the early 1980s. The continued popularity of this specific branch of dynamical systems theory is (among other things) motivated by its connection with problems of geometric function theory and geometric measure theory. I will talk about some such intriguing problems - recently solved, and also about those which are still open. In particular - the questions related to geometry of harmonic measure and the famous Brennan conjecture.  I will explain what dynamical systems have to do with all this.  In particular,  the (seemingly simple) dynamics of polynomials on the plane and the dynamics of so-called conformal iteration function  systems on the plane will be addressed in this context.
