International Mathematics Competition 2026

At this year's IMC, our Faculty was represented by a team composed of Krzysztof Karwik, Michał Kaźmierczak, Łukasz Łopacki, and Adam Naskręcki.

The team won one First Prize, two Second Prizes, and one Honorable Mention.

Congratulations! The team was coached by Dr. Rafał Martynek.

10 tasks to be solved during two days of competition and a total of 100 points to gain.
447 participants.

Michał Kaźmierniczak, a newcomer to the IMC competition, achieved an excellent result, scoring 75 points, placing 13th-15th (First Prize and a material prize). Adam Naskręcki and Krzysztof Karwik won silver medals (Second Prize), scoring 50 and 47 points, respectively. Łukasz Łopacki was just 4 points short of winning the bronze medal (30 points and Honorable Mention).

I. Chasovskikh from Moscow took first place with 92 points.

It's worth noting that only one competitor completed Task 5.
