2nd Warsaw Summer School in Probability

July 3-7, 2017

The school will be held from July 3rd till July 7th, 2017 at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw. Click here for information about the first edition of the school.


Each of the following lecturers will deliver four 90 minute lectures:

  • Nathael Gozlan (Université Paris Descartes)
      Optimal transport and concentration of measure
  • Cyril Roberto (Université Paris Ouest Nanterre la Défense)
       Ricci curvature and functional inequalities in discrete spaces
  • Wojciech Samotij (Tel Aviv University)
      The method of hypergraph containers

Additional educational lectures will be given by other experienced researchers. There will be also a number of short talks presented by young researchers.
