Research and education:

Almost all my academic career is associated with the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of Warsaw University. Currently I have master's degrees in mathematics and computer science, and a PhD degree in computer science. I am an assistant professor in the Institute on Informatics of Warsaw University. From February to July 2011 I have been at University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory (GAMES project, exchange grant).

My research interests include infinite games, automata theory, logic (seminarium teoria automatów), hyperbolic geometry (together with my amazing wife), programming (especially programming contests), games of various kinds (infinite, pen-and-paper, parlour, computer, board, cards, RPG etc.), travelling (bicycle, mountains, scientific and competitions, salesman problem), and art (game design, graphics, data visualization, photography, non-standard musical instruments).
