Practical information for new PhD students

Office

PhD students who do not have an assigned desk or office space at the Faculty but need one should contact the room assignment committee depending on the institute to which their supervisor belongs:
- Institute of Informatics: Marcin Dziubiński (m.dziubinski@mimuw.edu.pl)
- Institute of Mathematics: Sławomir Kolasiński (s.kolasinski@mimuw.edu.pl)
- Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics: Tomasz Piasecki (t.piasecki@mimuw.edu.pl)

Accounts and printers

If you need an account on the duch staff server or access to the Faculty printers please contact the Computer Laboratory (lk@mimuw.edu.pl).
Access cards to printer rooms can be obtained from the Administrative Section (room 1180, sg@mimuw.edu.pl).

Travel funds

For conference summer school or similar travel funding PhD students supported by grants should contact their grant manager
If no grant funds are available it is possible to apply for Faculty or IDUB Excellence Initiative Research University funding through the institutes management.
