- TOWARDS SPECTRAL GEOMETRY FOR QUANTUM TREES

Motivated by the spectral properties of Laplace operators on
classical graphs, we propose a quantum analogue based on incidence
operators, and investigate their properties. This leads to the notion of
a quantum tree, a quantum analogue of a classical tree graph. We study
the properties of these objects and propose a spectral-geometric
approach to their analysis using tools from the theory of spectral
triples. This is joint work in progress with Dawid Jasiński, Paweł
Kasprzak, Andrzej Sitarz, and Piotr M. Sołtan.
