Ontology-based and entity-centered text processing

Recognition and identification of entities, including both named entities and generic concepts, are one of the important issues in realization of 
semantic text processing, as they form essential elements in defining the meaning of a text. 
This talk presents our recent proposed ontology-based models and methods for entity recognition and disambiguation, and semantic query processing and text retrieval. Some application tools and systems using them are demonstrated.
