Heegaard Floer homology is a powerful invariant of closed 3-manifolds, characterized by its functorial behavior under cobordisms. Containing a vast amount of topological information, this theory is known, for instance, to detect the Thurston norm. Bordered Heegaard Floer homology extends this framework to 3-manifolds with boundary, making it an ideal tool for investigating manifold decompositions and gluing constructions.

The goal of this talk is to address the question of naturality in the bordered  setting. After a brief review of standard Heegaard Floer homology, I will introduce the bordered variant and discuss its key properties, with a particular emphasis on naturality.
