I will discuss how to describe minimizers of the Ginzburg-Landau energy (without magnetic field) when they have an unbounded number of vortices as the parameter \(\epsilon\) goes to zero. This situation can happen for example when we prescribe a Dirichlet boundary data with a degree \(d_\epsilon\) going to \(+\infty\). I will also consider the case of stable critical points and show one way to pass to the limit in the stability condition. Part of this talk is based on a joint work with Amandine Aftalion.
