Call for a Co-Investigator in National Science Centre Sonata Bis grant, led by dr Neo Christopher Chung
XiAI Cancer: Explainable Artificial Intelligence for Cancer Imaging
National Science Centre Sonata Bis grant no 2023/50/E/ST6/00694
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Co-Investigator (wykonawca) in AI/ML for computer vision, with a focus on medical images, at University of Warsaw. The XAICancer project, led by the principal investigator, Neo Christopher Chung (https://cbml.science), aims to create high performance deep learning models for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. In the process, we will develop novel algorithms (Vision Transformers, Self-supervised Learning, XAI, etc) and train neural networks for cancer images (CT and PET/CT scans). The role involves developing cutting edge ML methods for medical imaging data, collaborating with interdisciplinary and international teams, and disseminating research products through publications, conferences, and open source software packages.
Application deadline: April 30, 2025.
Application process: send your CV and cover letter (motivation) to PI to n.chung@uw.edu.pl
