
10-Minute Play Contest
We invite you to participate in the 10-Minute Play Contest as part of the First 10-Minute Plays Festival. The task is to write a script of 10–12 pages, featuring at least 2 actors. Your script should be relevant to theme ‘We, humans, that’s how we act’. Submissions can be in Polish or English, sent until January 6, 2025.

The Brawl - investing in cryptocurrencies - competition
We invite students (not only from our Faculty, the competition is international) to participate in "The Brawl", organized by, among others, IBM Poland. Three-person teams invest $1 million for five days in cryptocurrencies. Who will earn the most?

The exhibition Women of Mathematics throughout Europe organized by the Polish Society of Women in Mathematics and the Warsaw Chapter of Polish Mathematical Society is a must-see!

Thematic Research Programme
Another call for Thematic Research Programme has been opened. Funding can be obtained for a project consisting of at least two of the following:
a) temporary employment of outstanding, experienced or young scientists;
b) organization of conferences;
c) organization of workshops;
d) organization of schools;
e) visits of foreign scientists lasting no longer than 1 month

Krzysztof Diks won the Lem Award in the "culture" category!
Computer Science popularizer and a tutor of almost a hundred medalists of the International Computer Science Olympiad. Initiator of the first online programming competition "Pogromcy Algorytmów" ("Algorithm Busters"; today "Potyczki Algorytmiczne" - "Algorithm Battles"). Tutor and teacher of world champions in the International Collegiate Programming Contest in 2003 and 2007. Co-organizer of the Polish Academic Collegiate Programming Contest, chairman of the committee of the Computer Science Olympiad.
