About the Plenipotentiary

Professor Jerzy Tyszkiewicz serves as the Dean’s Plenipotentiary for Equality and Equal Treatment at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics (MIMUW).

Scope of Support

Professor Tyszkiewicz is available to discuss and assist with:

•     Equality and fair treatment concerns
•     Suspected discrimination
•     Experiences of mobbing or sexual harassment
•     Cases of hate speech
•     Requests to use preferred names and pronouns

He does not hold any formal disciplinary authority, but can act informally to mediate or resolve issues. If needed, he can help initiate formal university procedures involving authorized persons and bodies.

He is not a psychologist or therapist, but can offer initial support and refer individuals to professional help.
