I am one of the editors of a book series Monografie Matematyczne published by Birkhauser Verlag in cooperation with Institut of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences

The series Monografie Matematyczne began in 1932 with the publication of Banach's monograph "Theorie des operations lineaires" and followed by such books as Saks "Theorie d'integrale", first edition of Zygmund's "Trigonometric Series", Borsuk's "Theory of Retracts", and Bessaga and Pelczynski "Selected topics in infinite dimensional topology". Its publication was interrupted in 1986.

The New Series of Monografie Matematyczne intends to continue the tradition of publishing high quality research monographs in all areas of mathematics. It will be distributed worldwide by Birkhauser Verlag.
