Phd in mathematics I've obtained in 1996 in the Department of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics, University of Warsaw.

Habilitation in biocybernetics and biomedical engineering I've obtained in 2007 in the Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering, Polish Academy of Science.

Since May 2009 I am a professor in University of Warsaw.

I'm a member of biomathematics group which mainly apply mathematical methods in cancer modelling. In the framework of the work of this group several workshops and conferences was organized.


My lecture on the workshop organized in our Department by prof. Lachowicz in the framework of the international network "Using Mathematical Modelling and Computer Simulations to Improve Cancer Therapy".

From several years I cooperate with the team from Institute for Medical Biomathematics in Israel led by Prof. Zvia Agur.

I live in the village near Warsaw.

My husband is an architect.

We have a cat. His name is Peter.

We had also lovely ferret Kate. She died last summer...
