Grading Rules in 2014



The final grade is built from points.
You can obtain up to 2 points for Homework.
You can obtain up to 1 point for Partial exam (colloquium).
In order to be admitted to the Exam First Try, you need to gather at least 2 points.

Exam First Try (June)
You can obtain up to 3 points for the Written exam.
The exam will comprise both problems and theoretical questions.

The grade will be the sum of the points for Homework, Partial exam, and Written exam.
Jointly, you can get up to 6 points = grade 5! (excellent).
If you obtain at least 4.5 points (grade good plus), you may improve your grade by passing Oral exam.

Exam Second Try (September)
No admission treshold.
You can obtain up to 4 points for the Written exam.
The grade will be the sum of the points for Homework, Partial exam, and Written exam (of the Second Try only).
If you obtain at least 4 points (grade good), you may improve your grade by passing Oral exam.
