At the outskirts of Opole, thus in the countryside, an old village has been recreated. Not as in an average open-air museum, it is not just one farm consisting of building from different places and times. Here, you can actually feel as if you were in an actual relatively big village two centuries ago. There are separate farms, water mill and church. Possibly the best open-air museum I have been to. Outside of season, so empty and windy, but quite sunny. For the dessert you get the modern entrance building which is a very successful reference to the architecture of the village.
