Lavaux Terraces — triple sun effect

(June 2018, z Tomasz, Michał, Diana, Jonathan, Viera and others)

Terraced vineyards on the steep shores of Lake Geneva to the west of Lausanne were built already in Roman times. Apparently, the vines are doing well here because of the triple sun effect – the one from above, reflected from the surface of the lake and reflected from the high walls supporting the terraces. We felt this triple sun effect on ourselves.
