Brzeg — museum of Piast copies

The next stop for sightseeing in Opolskie was Brzeg (eng. bank). And indeed, but somehow surprisingly, it occupies exactly one bank of river Oder. It contains famous Castle of Piast dynasty with courtyard which at the first glance can be confused with Wawel. Inside you can find some more or less successful copies of things — crypt with copies of thombs (impressive), and copies of outfits (quite embarrassing). Also town square with town hall in renovation. Gothic church obscured by a cuboid from soviet times, and an ad of a sex shop on a pink plywood fastened to a shrub, rich villas usually very battered. This is the vibe of this town.
