The present version of my paper Lines and conics on contact Fano
manifolds (as of January 6th, 2000) has some technical problems
related to the resolution of rational maps constructed in the course of
the proof of the main theorem. There are two major problems:
the proof of Proposition 2 (ii) (the statement about
set-theoretic intersection of the strict transform divisor and the
exceptional divisor) is incomplete - this was pointed to me by Janos
Kollar.
the proof Lemma 10 is not correct - this was pointed to me by
Frederic
Campana.
Although using Lemma 10 in the course of the proof of the main theorems
can be avoided, the first of the mentioned problems is a very serious one
as the whole line of argument is based on the intersection property stated
in Proposition 2(ii).
I work on fixing this problem.
