Andrzej Szczepan Białynicki-Birula Foundation

The aim of the Foundation is to support Belarusian and Ukrainian students of mathematics and informatics at the University of Warsaw.

The Foundation bears its name after Andrzej Szczepan Białynicki-Birula, mathematician, researcher and educator, vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw, dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics (MIM).

Scientific stipends and allowances for academic achievements

Applications for scientific stipends from the Andrzej Szczepan Białynicki-Birula Foundation for the academic year 2024/2025 and allowances for academic achievements for the winter semester 2024/2025 can be submitted from September 10 to 24, 2024. The amount of the stipend is PLN 2,800 per month, paid from October 2024 to June 2025, see the scholarship regulations. The amount of the allowance for academic achievbements is PLN 1,200; in the winter semester the allowance will be paid from October 2024 to January 2025, see the allowance regulations.
