Questions will be like:\u00a0\u201cplease prove theorem x\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0There are 7 topics:<br \/>\nA) chapter 1 of the notes<br \/>\nB) chapter 2\u00a0of the notes<br \/>\nC) reachability for VASS<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0(not in the notes, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mimuw.edu.pl\/~sl\/teaching\/16_17\/Kosaraju.pdf\">here<\/a>)<\/span><br \/>\nD) chapters 3, 4\u00a0of the notes<br \/>\nE) chapters 5, 6\u00a0of the notes<br \/>\nF) chapter 7\u00a0of the notes<br \/>\nG) chapters 8, 9 of the notes<\/p>\n<p>The threshold for grades 3, 4, 5 are:<br \/>\n3)\u00a0two parts<br \/>\n4)\u00a0four parts<br \/>\n5)\u00a0six parts<\/p>\n<p>Additional points can be scored by finding errors in the notes and putting them in the file you got by email. Approximately 10 virgin (i.e. not found by other people) errors are worth 0.5 added to the grade (but not more, i.e.\u00a020 errors\u00a0have the same grade value as 10). Approximately means that errors can have different scales, i.e. a simple linguistic typo (forgotten &#8220;a&#8221;) counts for 0.5 error, an inverted &lt; counts for 1, a reasoning error counts for more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The exam is an oral exam.
