We study the problem of finite entailment of ontology-mediated queries. In particular, we are interested in non-local queries. Recent studies show that a vast majority of user-issued CRPQs only use Kleene star over unions of roles. We show how to answer such simple CRPQs, mediated by ontologies expressed in the description logic ALCOI extended by allowing transitive closures of unions of roles, to match the expressive power of the queries.
