Travel to Bedlewo

To reach Warsaw Central Station from the Warsaw airport allow (at most) 30 minutes if you take a taxi and (at most) 1 hour if you travel by bus (bus number 175). If traveling by taxi, choosing one of the corporate taxis is recommended (they can be easily recognized, as they have taxi company's phone number displayed on the car). Bus ticket can be bought from the bus driver (3PLN) or in advance in a small shop "Ruch".

Train tickets can normally be purchased in the airport, in the arrival hall.

The recommended travel option

The organizers plan to arrange for transportation from Poznan to Bedlewo. This would be a minibus starting from Poznan main railway station (Poznan Gl.). We think of scheduling a few rides of this minibus on Saturday afternoon/evening, depending on the response to the questionnaire enclosed below.

New information

Z. Marciniak will go from Warsaw to Poznan on June 4th, by the train leaving at 13:25. He will be happy to assist everybody willing to take the same train. The other trains leave Warsaw at 14:25, 15:25, 16:25 and 17:25. The last train arrives in Poznan at 20:21.
We will organize a few courses of the conference mini-bus from the railway station to Bedlewo. The last mini-bus for Bedlewo will leave the train station about 20:40.
Z. Marciniak will stay at the Poznan Main Railroad Station ("Poznan Główny") to assist the participants coming with later trains. He can be met at the bus-and-taxi stop at the station and recognized by a yellow copy of Springer Lecture Notes.
If anybody gets lost or disoriented in Poznan, he/she can call Z. Marciniak for assistance at his cell phone (+48) 694-085-096.
