My research field is set theory. I am especially interested in
questions concerning subsets of the real line, ideals of measure and
category and - more generally - connections of set theory with other
branches of mathematics, like topology, measure theory and real
analysis.
To be more specific, I am especially interested in various kinds of
small subsets of the reals, mostly in those which have definitions
referring to the group structure of the reals (e.g. strongly null sets,
strongly meager sets, very meager sets). I also investigate
similarities and differences between additive properties of null and
meager sets in different groups (the real line, the Cantor set, the
Baire space as a countable product of integers, etc.).
