I am currently a Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow in Computational Biology Branch (CBB) of National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at National Institutes of Health (NIH). I am working in the Teresa Przytycka'a research group.

I am an assistant professor at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw in Poland. I work at the Institute of Informatics. I am a member of the Computational Biology Group. I am on two years leave.

Research Interest

• Computational Molecular Biology: molecular evolution, comparative genomics, phylogenetics
• Probabilistic methods in computer science and bioinformatics: Markov chains, Bayesian networks, Monte Carlo methods
• Randomized algorithms: algorithms for random generation and approximate counting
