Dorm is the student dormitory. Its address is ul. Radomska 11, phone +48 22 554 94 00. Access: by bus # 175, 188 to the stop ul. Wawelska, then by foot; the easiest by taxi (I'd recommend the city taxi MPT, their phone # 919).
Math is the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Mechanics of Warsaw University. This is the site of most of the lectures and computer lab sessions. Address: ul. Banacha 2, access: walking distance form Math, PAS and Heavy Ions
IM PAN is the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Some of the lectures will be held here. Adress: Sniadeckich 8. Access from the dorm is by streetcars: line #2, line #15 and line #47 from the stop Grojecka/Wawelska or lines 2, 15, 47 and line # 36 from the stop at pl. Narutowicza.
Heavy Ions stands for the Guestrooms of Heavy Ions Lab, address: ul. Pasteura 5a, phone:+(48 22) 822 40 38. Access from the airport: by bus # 175, 188 to the stop ul. Banacha, then by foot; the easiest by taxi (I'd recommend the city taxi MPT, their phone # 919).
PAS stands for the Hotel of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, address: ul. Pawinskiego 5a, ph: +(48 22) 658 47 00, +(48 22) 658 47 94. Access from the airport: by bus # 175, 188 to the stop ul. Banacha, then by foot; the easiest by taxi (I'd recommend the city taxi MPT, their phone # 919).
Lecture Halls. The lectures will take place at:
IM PAN in room 106 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (June 24 -- June 26)
Math in Computer Lab No 2, Thursday and Friday (June 27 -- June 28)
Math in room 3120 (July 1 -- July 11).

Tickets The system is quite complicated, but the
best buy is weekly ticket valid on any bus, streetcar or subway
line within city limits, price: 24 zl (with student discount 12.40 zl).
You can buy a daily ticket, price: 7.20 zl (with student discount 3.70 zl) valid on any bus, streetcar or subway. Least convenient is the
one trip ticket (no transfers), price: 2.40 zl
(with student discount 1.25zl).
You can buy tickets at newstands and in many other places displaying the ZTM logo
You must validate your ticket upon boarding buses and streetcars but before entering subway platforms.Currency. You can exchange your currency for Polish zloty at many currency exchange offices (kantor), they offer better exchage rate than many banks. The banks serving the aiport do not offer a satifactory exchange rate. I'd recomend services of Bank PeKaO SA, which offers an honest rate. One branch is located on pl. Narutowicza, close to the dorm. Current exchange rates are:
