Our faculty is located close to the central part of Warsaw and is surrounded by other university buildings: the faculties of Biology, Chemistry, Geology and the Geophysics Institute. In the nearest distance, there are also the Heavy Ion Laboratory, the Medical University of Warsaw and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computer Modelling and some other research institutes as well.

Transport

There are two bus lines from the Warsaw International Airport: 175 and 188, which pass very close to the faculty building (you should get off at Banacha - szpital stop and turn to Banacha street).

There are also trams 7, 9, 25 and a bus 521 from the Central Railway Station (destination: Okęcie or Szczęśliwice, get off at Kino Ochota stop and turn to Winnicka street). See also travel section.

A map and the plan of the building

The entrance to the building is located in Pasteura street, between Banacha and Winnicka streets. The topography of the building is quite complicated. Please call at the reception. You may also find useful the plan of the building (in Polish, so far).
