Abstrakt
In the paper main trends and tendencies of the philosophical reflection
on
mathematics in Poland will be presented. Views of mathematicians
interested in philosophical issues (W. Sierpiñski, Z. Janiszewski,
S. Zaremba, E. Stamm, S. Dickstein, J. Sleszyñski, W. Wilkosz)
as well
as philosophers interested in methodology of formal sciences (members
of
the Lvov-Warsaw School: K. Ajdukiewicz, J.£ukasiewicz,
S. Le¶niewski, and philosophers not belonging to this group as
L. Chwistek) will be analysed.
